Perhaps a stubborn terrier, wirey and scruffy.
Or a sassy maltese, soft and fluffy.
Yep, that's your classy Beest friend...
Sitting there licking its rear end.
Burps in your face and drools all over the place.
Gassing you out with toxic farties,
And throws epic toilet paper parties!
Peeing in the yard with a bone in its mouth...
Booty scootin' across the new rug headed due south.
But the jingle of keys and your car alarm beep...
Are greeted by a wiggly butt and smiley little teeth.
Teachers of endless love, how we need them so. 
Good luck staying mad or even saying, 'No'.
We think they love us ever so dearly,
But it's the hope of getting a new squeaky toy, clearly.
